The 58th National Film Awards 2011 announced on Thursday.
There were two technical awards for the film — while Kamod Karade won best audiography location sound recordist, Debajit Changmai was named best re-recordist of the final mixed track.
Salman Khan starrer blockbuster movie ‘Dabangg’ bagged the National Awards for ‘Wholesome entertainer movie of the Year’.
The National Award for best actor will be shared by Tamil cinema’s Dhanush and Malayalam actor Salim Kumar for their work in “Aadukalam” and “Adaminde Makan Abu”, respectively.
Malayalam film Adaminte Makan Abu directed by Salim Ahmed won the 58th National Award for Best Feature Film. The 58th National Film Awards for the year 2010 are being announced at a press conference in New Delhi.
Do Dooni Chaar directed by Habib Faisal was declared the Best Hindi Film. Abhinav Kashyap’s Dabangg won the award for Popular film providing wholesome entertainment.
Marathi actress Mitalee Jagtap Paradhar and Tamil cinema’s Saranya won the National Award for best actress for their performances in the movies “Baboo Band Baaja” and “Thenmerku Paruvakkaatru” respectively.
The movie ‘Adaminte Makan Abu’ was adjudged best Feature Film.
Tamil moviemaker Veerimaran was named best director at the 58th National Film Awards.
