Urvashi Sharma is an Indian model born in Delhi.She comes from a middle-class Punjabi family in Delhi and has no filmi connections.

She has three siblings.Her eldest sister Sucheta Sharma is a model too, who took care of her when she decided to shift to Mumbai.There is only one year difference between both the sisters. It is said that her sister is also going to join Bollywood very soon.Urvashi Sharma and her sister Sucheta Sharma look pretty alike.

Urvashi moved to Mumbai recently back to see her Bollywood dreams materialize.Urvashi Sharma is 5ft 8 in tall .She made her debut recently in Bollywood with Abbas Mastan’s romantic thriller Naqaab: Disguised Intentions. Naqaab stars Bobby Deol and Akshay Khanna opposite her.

Urvashi did modelling for Ponds, Garnier, TBZ and Globus.Her first campaign was for Ponds, then came Garnier, followed by Kit Kat and Monte Carlo.

She also performed in a hot music video "Something Something Meri Jaan" with Mika. She played a heartbroken girl in Atif Aslam "Doorie" song, where she made her face and tears do all the talking.

Urvashi Sharma proved her guts during the shooting of Naqaab in Dubai. The actress insisted that she should be allowed to do a stunt on a speed boat all by herself. The director duo Abbas-Mustan agreed to it on condition that Urvashi would drive the speedboat slow. But , when the cameras started rolling, Urvashi went off at a breakneck speed. The unit members and co-actors watching her got really worried.

She had done her part of home work before joining the film Industry.She enrolled herself in Vidhur's Creating Characters acting school and joined Kathak classes. She is a very good dancer.
