Katrina Kaif Launches Kodak M-series Digital Camera










Kodak, along with Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif, launched its new EasyShare M-Series digicams aimed at consumers who are style savvy as well as budget-conscious. Four cameras were launched in the series – M753, M853, M873, and M883.

"Kodak believes in creating the best offering for consumers so they can enjoy digital photography. Our range of M series digital zoom cameras are not only packed with rich and easy-to-use features, it also adds that instant style quotient to your personality," said Warren Wisnewski, Managing Director, Consumer Business, Asia Pacific Region and VP, Consumer Digital Imaging Group, Eastman Kodak Company.

The M873 and M883 offer 8 megapixel resolution and high ISO settings along with 3 inch LCD displays, while the M753 and M853 offer 7 and 8 megapixel resolutions respectively with 2.5 inch displays.

The M753 will be available for Rs 10,999, M853 for Rs 11,999, M873 for Rs 12,999 and the M883 for Rs 13,999. All these cameras will be available in the stores by early November.

Dia Mirza , nicknamed Dee, (born 9 December 1981 in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India) is an Indian model and actress and Miss Asia Pacific for the year 2000. She was also second runner up in the Miss India 2000 beauty contest.

Her father Frank Handrich was a German interior designer; her mother is Deepa Mirza, a Bengali. They separated when she was six years old. Her father died when she was nine and her mother remarried: Ahmed Mirza whose surname she took, died in 2004. She stated that she suffered from "low self-esteem" as a child. Though she has been brought up in a Muslim household, she does not consider herself a Muslim; she is a Hindu and believes in Ganesha. When living in Khairatabad, Hyderabad, she attended Vidyaranya High School For Boys And Girls, a school based on the teachings of Krishnamurti, and later Nasr School, in Kushnuma. Currently, she lives in Bandra, Mumbai. To brush up on acting before Shootout at Lokhandwala, she took a one week course of cinema at New York University.

She made her cinematic debut with Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein opposite R. Madhavan. The film was not a box office success. A series of unsuccessful films followed, among them Tumsa Nahin Dekha and Deewaanapan.

In 2005, Mirza appeared in Parineeta, a Vidhu Vinod Chopra production. In 2006 she teamed up once again with Chopra and Sanjay Dutt for the successful film Lage Raho Munna Bhai. She also played in the music video Kajara Mohabbat Wala from Sonu Nigam album Kajara Nite.

She has also appeared in Dus and in Fight Club. She will appear later this year in Familywala and Naa Naa Karte.
